British adults also suffer from a lack of basic financial education in their schools. According to statistics, 91 percent of British adults never received such education, and a symptom of this lack of education is the growing level of debt throughout British society.

To counter this trend, an organization called MyBnk seeks to increase financial literacy throughout British society by providing workshops and various programs that serve to educate regarding financial health.
